Cranberry Brie Pull Apart Bread Recipe

  • Author: Thomas
  • Total Time: 25-30 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This Cranberry Brie Pull Apart Bread is a deliciously gooey and festive appetizer perfect for sharing. Made with a round sourdough loaf filled with creamy melted brie, crunchy pecans, sweet dried cranberries, and buttery brown sugar crumble, it’s baked until golden and irresistibly melty.

Ingredients

Scale

Bread and Butter

  • 1 round loaf sourdough bread
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Filling

  • 2/3 cup raw pecans, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 (16 ounce) wheel of brie, cubed
  • 1 cup dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking.
  2. Prepare the Bread: Slice the sourdough bread horizontally and vertically in 1-inch increments, being careful not to cut all the way through, creating cubes while keeping the loaf intact.
  3. Make the Butter Crumble: In a small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of butter with the chopped pecans and brown sugar using your hands until a crumble forms. Slice the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter thinly and insert these slices evenly into the crevices of the loaf.
  4. Stuff the Bread: Stuff the cubed brie pieces into the cuts of the bread, making sure to fill all the spaces. Add the dried cranberries and the pecan-butter crumble evenly throughout the loaf.
  5. Bake: Place the stuffed loaf onto a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the brie is melted and the bread is warm and gooey.
  6. Serve: Remove from oven and serve immediately while warm, allowing guests to pull apart the cheesy, fruity bread pieces.

Notes

  • Be careful not to slice the bread all the way through to keep the loaf intact for pulling apart.
  • You can substitute pecans with walnuts or almonds if preferred.
  • Use full-fat brie for best melting and creaminess.
  • Serve with a side of honey or fig jam for extra sweetness if desired.
  • Best served warm for gooey cheese and crisp bread texture.
