  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Mango Bliss Balls are a delicious and nutritious no-bake snack made with ripe mango, rolled oats, almond flour, and desiccated coconut. These bliss balls are perfect for a quick energy boost, offering a delightful combination of tropical sweetness and a satisfying chewy texture, easy to prepare without any cooking.

Ingredients

Scale

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ⅓ cup desiccated coconut (+ more for coating balls)

Fresh Ingredients

  • 1 ripe mango

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mango Puree: Cut the ripe mango into chunks and blend the pieces in a food processor or blender until smooth to form a mango puree.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Add the rolled oats, almond flour, and desiccated coconut to the mango puree in the blender and pulse or blend briefly. Some oat pieces may remain intact, which enhances the texture of the bliss balls.
  3. Shape the Balls: Using a tablespoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them between your palms to form round balls.
  4. Coat the Bliss Balls: Roll each ball in additional desiccated coconut to coat, or leave them plain if preferred. Place them on a tray.

Notes

  • Use a ripe, sweet mango for best flavor and moisture content to bind the mixture.
  • If the mixture is too wet, add a bit more almond flour or oats to firm it up.
  • Store bliss balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • These make a great healthy snack option for kids and adults alike.
  • For a variation, add a pinch of cinnamon or a handful of chopped nuts for extra flavor and crunch.
