Scale
Cheese and Dairy
- 12 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¾ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
Vegetables and Seasoning
- 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
- 9 oz frozen spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained
- 1 (1 oz) packet ranch dip mix
For Serving
- Bread, crackers, or pretzels
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish thoroughly to prevent sticking.
- Mix Cheese and Cream: In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, and minced garlic. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
- Add Spinach and Ranch Mix: Fold in the well-drained thawed spinach and packet of ranch dip mix into the cheese mixture. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
- Assemble and Top: Transfer the dip mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese evenly on top of the mixture.
- Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbly and hot.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve hot with bread, crackers, or pretzels for dipping.
Notes
- Be sure to thoroughly drain the thawed spinach to prevent excess moisture in the dip.
- You can substitute the mozzarella and cheddar with other cheeses like Monterey Jack or Colby for a different flavor profile.
- For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
- This dip can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
- Leftovers can be refrigerated and gently reheated in the oven.
