  • Author: Thomas
  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

This creamy Ranch Spinach Dip is a warm, cheesy appetizer perfect for parties or game days. Made with a blend of cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan cheeses mixed with seasoned ranch dip mix and spinach, it delivers a rich, flavorful dip that pairs wonderfully with bread, crackers, or pretzels.

Ingredients

Scale

Cheese and Dairy

  • 12 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¾ cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Vegetables and Seasoning

  • 1 ½ teaspoons minced garlic
  • 9 oz frozen spinach, thawed and thoroughly drained
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch dip mix

For Serving

  • Bread, crackers, or pretzels

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking dish thoroughly to prevent sticking.
  2. Mix Cheese and Cream: In a large bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, and minced garlic. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  3. Add Spinach and Ranch Mix: Fold in the well-drained thawed spinach and packet of ranch dip mix into the cheese mixture. Mix until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Assemble and Top: Transfer the dip mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle the shredded parmesan cheese evenly on top of the mixture.
  5. Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbly and hot.
  6. Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Serve hot with bread, crackers, or pretzels for dipping.

Notes

  • Be sure to thoroughly drain the thawed spinach to prevent excess moisture in the dip.
  • You can substitute the mozzarella and cheddar with other cheeses like Monterey Jack or Colby for a different flavor profile.
  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
  • This dip can be prepared in advance and baked just before serving.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated and gently reheated in the oven.
